This is what the #10YearChallenge looks like for wildlife

One of Social Media’s first trends for 2019 has undoubtedly been the 10 Year Challenge. If you’ve missed it, the challenge is quite simple really. Social media users are posting two images side by side taken at least 10 years apart, to show the difference 10 years make.

 

Thousands of people and celebrities have taken the challenge but LCA Spark Talks are putting their own spin on the #10YearChallenge to highlight what it looks like for wildlife and ecosystems.

Spark Talks are not trying to suck the fun out of this trend but as one Spark Talks speaker, Leitah Mkhabela, boldly pointed out – “We have to speak for the animals. We have to fight for them because they can’t fight for themselves”.
